The battle at the ritual site takes a dire turn as the Protectors fight desperately to save the sacrificial villager from a gruesome fate. The challenges only escalate in the aftermath as duplicity proves as deadly as steel and sorcery. As they turn their attention to the cultist leaders of the lumber camp, the Protectors find themselves entangled in a dangerous web of deception and shifting allegiances. Will they navigate the treachery unscathed, or are they merely pawns in a larger, more sinister game?
