Historyman presents the Guilford Courthouse Fife and Drum. The fife and drum in the armies of the American Revolutionary War were significant for many reasons, not just on the battlefield. The musicians were a timepiece for the day, a pace setter for the march, entertainment in the camp, and a communication tool during battle.
