I record my podcast episodes while I'm on my warning walk. Yesterday, I was going to record an episode about my depression several years ago. But for some reason, I just didn't feel like recording it. As soon as I walked in the house from the walk, the news of Kate Spade's suicide broke. I didn't know Kate, I didn't own anything of hers, so I wasn't a fan. But I couldn't explain the sadness that overtook me. So I spent the day processing it and I knew I had to actually share about the season I could have easily checked out. I wanted to share because to see me today, you would never believe that there was a point in my life that I actually didn't want to wake up.
