775 is the area code of rural Nevada. The 775 Alive Podcast was created by Scott Gavorsky and Crystal Newton in 2025, after years of participating in the politics and economy of rural Nevada. Scott is a historian and consultant who currently serves on a number of government commissions and Crystal is a Business Strategist who has previously ran for office.
