'NBA, Mate!' is a podcast dedicated to the NBA community in the United Kingdom. My goal is to produce content for the best basketball league in the world that will be listened by every NBA fan in the UK and that would lead to the birth of a real community - watching games together, playing together, celebrating this beautiful sport. I will be releasing two types of episodes - every Monday, Wednesday and Friday there will be a short (up to 15 minutes) segment that will follow the style of the popular NBA discussion shows on the large sports networks like ESPN and Fox Sports but will focus on more analytical and level-headed takes rather than looking for 'attention-grabbing takes', and every two weeks on Sunday morning there will be a longer form episode (up to 2 hours) that will follow a more traditional podcast format where with a guest I would be discussing the most recent events in the NBA and once the season starts the focus will be on the season development, league leaders, MVP race, etc. While these will be the two types of episodes I release, occasionally I will be producing special limited series that will have a specific topic. One of them - 'The All-NBA Playoff 1st Teams - from 60s to today' will be a series where I explore what would have been the All-NBA 1st team for every year of NBA Playoffs, thus acknowledging playoff performances that could hve been forgotten due to the player's team not making it to the finals or winning a chip. This series will start on Sep 25.
