Sturgess, a mother of three, died after spraying herself with a fatal dose of Novichok left in a discarded perfume bottle; her family says "we can finally put her to peace”. The attack may have been avoided if Skripal had been given a new identity, the report said, but adds it was reasonable to assess at the time that he was not at high risk of assassination.
