Gentle Bones (Joel Tan) is known for his emotionally rich songs that have taken him to international stages across South Korea, London, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Now, he presents himself as a fully realized artist songwriter, producer, and mastering engineer under his own independent label, Yung Lee Records.
After a hiatus from the music scene, Gentle Bones returns to greet his fans with his third studio album, “Dark Circle Serum.” Gentle Bones is the Forbes 30 Under 30 and in this epsiode marks a new chapter in his life and career one that shows greater musical and personal growth.
Gentle Bones album centers on the theme of “rejuvenation”, exploring self-healing through music, wrapped in playful yet thoughtful metaphors around skincare and eye-care. The focus track, “Getting Romantic,” highlights the emotional conflicts of a modern relationship, telling the story of the desire to open one’s heart while grappling with the fear of old wounds. Its raw lyricism and intimate production make it a standout moment in the album.
