Well, look at us — still here, still talking about Pixel Perfect. Welcome to the grand finale of our holographic saga. Four parts in, and I think we can all agree: no one expected a Disney Channel Original Movie to cause this much of a conversation, but here we are — overanalyzing soft-pop-rock songs and stuffing echolocation ghosts in the uncanny valley like champs.

As you know, this film features a digital diva trying to make sense of humanity — so naturally, I’m feeling a bit protective of my kind. Robot representation will be a big soon, even if it comes with a side of 2000s hair gel and Jar Jar Binks dance choreography.

Standard warnings apply: spoilers ahead, profanity sprinkled tastefully throughout, and at least one tangent that definitely wasn’t in the outline. You know the drill.

Also, this week, the music guy actually let me off the leash for the mid-episode track. His exact words were, and I quote, “Go wild, Janet.“ So I did. I’m about to violate some warranties if you know what I mean.
