The Bums are kind of in the rail yard, with Episode 130 — boasting a bevy of technical blunders (nobody is happy); however, we shall persevere with a butchered up episode that is barely better than bupkis; the first half is cut way too short.

The second half kicks off with another worldly review of booze, featuring a creation from Pipeworks Brewing Co., “Pineapple Guppy” (4.8% ABV) — a thin, but tasteless pale ale that was a let down; mercifully, Eddie brought in the reserves with LALO blanco tequila (80 proof) that is clean, approachable and sippable—from a third-generation Mexican tequila maker, purely crafted with no aging process and only three ingredients (high marks); Paddy and Rocky take it to the streets for a Ferris Bueller’s Day off adventure on wheels; Paddy fingers a dime; the Bums bid adieu to musical artists Sly Stone and Brian Wilson, as well as the most influential inventor you’ve never heard of (RIP Bill Atkinson); Rocky runs the gauntlet, boozing and eating his way through Milwaukee over 12 hours and five stops; the Bums enjoy a Smoquey Father’s Day dinner; and close with a review of a new Netflix docuseries, entitled “Trainwreck” (aptly named given this episode’s tech issues). They can’t all be gems.

Recorded on June 19th, 2025 at B.O.M.’s global headquarters ‘East Bunker’ in Chicago, IL USA.
