The New Testament bears the fingerprints of many famous characters, but I keep finding myself in the cul de sac shaped by two famous Pharisees who were also Rabbis named:Hillel and Shammai. They argued about everything and maybe that was a good thing. Their disciples recorded many of those arguments and they have labeled them: Arguments for the Sake of Heaven. This model of constructive dialogue has fingerprints all over the New Testament discussions. Let's explore how an argument might bring God glory and see if we don't understand the New Testament better in the process.
