Nicaragua has risen to the apex of the cigar making world over the last few decades, but now that status is being called into question.

Cigar makers have been drawn to Nicaragua for it's nutrient rich soil and the powerful leaf it produces. However, over the last few years, nearly every cigar making family has made bold moves to build brand new factories and cigar making infrastructure in Honduras. So has Nicaragua had it's 15 minutes of fame? Is Honduras going to become the new cigar making capital of the world?
