Here, Brian discusses what the governing law or choice of law provision is in most loan agreements or credit card agreements and how to use it in your case. Overriding the whole thing is procedural and substantive law and a consideration no one else will talk about: 15 USC 1692n-It is a poison pill when you need it. The governing law provisions can help you if you do a little research on the state that governs the contract to get what you want out of the defense of your collection case. It bothers most collectors and debt buyers to bring it up. Education is key. Just watching this video means you are head and shoulders above everyone else in the process. Hang in there with this.
