He answered his call to ministry at the age 12. Maurice graduated from Blake High School for the performing arts where he founded and directed the award winning Blake Gospel Choir. He is also the founder and CEO of Allen’s Entertainment Group which produces the Tampa Bay Jazz Fest, Tampa Bay Gospel Music Festival, Feed Yo Soul Fest, Worship Night Out, and Maurice Allen’s Jazz And More Live Lounge (affectionately known as Allen’s Jazz Lounge).
