Hello, I’m Tracy — a proud Gen X music fan raised on the sounds of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. My teenage years were soundtracked by mixtapes, Top of the Pops, and late-night radio. I spent the ’90s and 00s attending live gigs and festivals, and now, thanks to my kids, I’m discovering a whole new wave of music.

The Rewind Sessions is my love letter to the songs and stories that shaped me — and maybe shaped you too. This podcast is all about connection: to the music, the memories, and the people who made them unforgettable. I’ve been digging through old diaries, unearthing ticket stubs, and swapping stories with friends — and I can’t wait to share them with you. More than anything, I hope this podcast inspires you to share your own musical memories with the people you love.

In each episode, I’’ll rewind to a song that meant something — a moment, a feeling, a time in our lives. I don’t play the tracks here, but I invite you to listen along on vinyl, CDs, tapes, or on your favorite streaming app. And if you get the chance — go see these artists live. Many are touring, releasing new music, and putting re-release vinyl and special editions for significant anniversaries! Support them. Buy the albums. Read the notes and feel the magic again.

Each episode is a mixtape of memories, meaning, and musical rediscovery. In season 1 ,we begin with Ashes by Embrace. We will also explore the music of Joni Mitchell, No Doubt and Bon Jovi to name a few! And yes — Season Two is already in the works, where we’ll explore songs that link music to our favorite TV moments. So come on — let’s rewind together.
