In this episode, we look at Esther chapter 1 and the trouble that starts with King Ahasuerus and Queen Vashti. We talk about how pride, foolish choices, and too much alcohol led the king to make a harsh, unwise law about men having power in every home.

Even though this chapter does not mention any clear promises from God or any prophecies, we point out an important truth: God is still working behind the scenes, even when His name is not mentioned.

We draw out warnings for our own lives, like learning self-control, staying away from drunkenness, asking for wise advice before we act, and not making big decisions in anger. In the end, this episode reminds us that God can use broken governments and imperfect leaders to set up His plans and protect His people, even when everything looks out of control.
