Today’s episode we interview Elaine Rasmussen, CEO of Social Impact Strategies Group, a certified-B corp. social enterprise building more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, bridging the gap for Black/brown communities. Her company SSIG provides racial equity & social impact consultations while fostering deeper relationships between investors and minority entrepreneurs through access to education, capital, and diversity-building events such as the ConnectUp! Summit. As a former single mother, we talk about her journey as a badass, Black leader fostering systemic change, staying true to who she is and her mission, despite discrimination and obstacles along the way.
