In this episode of The Burnout Club, Patrice Bonfiglio sits down with Dr. Christine Staten, a veterinarian, practice owner, and founder of Veterinary MBA. From building a 10-doctor, 50-person mixed animal practice to creating space for mentorship and consulting, Christine’s journey is a testament to what’s possible when you blend entrepreneurial fire with emotional self-awareness. Together, they explore how burnout shows up in caregiving professions—and why your nervous system might just need an Airbnb in the mountains.

Listeners will walk away with practical, soulful strategies for spotting emotional spirals before they take over. Christine opens up about how she learned to differentiate her own stress signals and how she teaches overwhelmed leaders to find freedom by letting go—even of things they love.
