He was a major league baseball player for 13 years, president of his homeowners group, a coach, and a mentor. Now David Dellucci wants to run for one of two St. George City At-Large City Council positions. He is passionate about his reasons for running and believes he can make a difference in the new created city which is now the 5th largest in Louisiana. David was part of the original Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team when they were formed and four years later won a world series. He was leader on the field and in the clubhouse and believes he can bring those attributes to St. George.

Listen as David expains his desire to help the new city grow and prosper. He does not have to serve as he is a commentator on both the SEC Network and ESPN. But his passion to help get St. George get off on the right path comes through.
