Welcome to another episode of the Run Breiter Podcast! As someone who has coached runners for nearly a decade, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking you know it all. But whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, admitting you need help is never easy.

With the goal of breaking three hours in the marathon, Sam Breiter has brought on a new coach: Nick Boyer. Nick, originally from Quincy, IL and now based in New York City, is a top 1% runner with impressive personal bests—sub-5 minute mile, sub-16 5K, sub-1:15 half marathon, and a 2:40 marathon.

In this episode, Nick shares his coaching philosophy and answers many of Sam’s questions just a little over a week into their training together.

Enjoy!
