This weekend in Segunda the automatic promotion chasers at the top separated out a little, for now at least, as two won and two dropped points. CD Castellon and Ceuta have catapulted themselves into top 6 contention with a string of results, whilst down the bottom, 9 points adrift just a few weeks ago, Real Zaragoza are now just 3 from safety following 3 wins in a row.

We aim to pack as much of that into the two main shows this week.

In Part 1 we focus on the top 8 clubs.

In part 2 (out Thursday) we will be focussing thing going well at Real Zaragoza, but red cards and more misery for Paco Lopez’s Leganes, the Funes revolution continues at Malaga, Granada are on the march, Mirandes picking up a crucial 3 points in a relegation 6 pointer vs Real Soc B, and Cadiz finally break out of their slump to win in Cordoba.
