We've got some big changes going on at Studio Nerd! In addition to our bimonthly Media Club, where we review anime, movies, television, videogames and more, we will spend the off months interviewing our favorite nerds about their passions; from Star Wars to tabletop games. This week, we had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with Heather Irvine: filmmaker, professor, and founder of Ford Studio B - a grassroots film studio born out Eastern Michigan University. She has a prolific film catalog which has led to her winning four 48-hour film competitions. Heather dives deep into her love of filmmaking, finding her purpose through education, and more.
