Joining us today at Maximal Being Fitness, Nutrition, and Gut Health, is Karlie Causey who explains how to build foundations to stay active in postpartum. In her company Jen & Keri, they have a motto that every mom is an athlete. If you're a mom, you know you're doing athletic things on the daily, like picking up the car seat, putting the kid in the car, carrying the car seat around, you're doing hip hinges, deadlifts, presses, clean, and other functional moves in real life. And so even if you don't really consider yourself an athlete, you're doing athletic things. And it's super important to be prepared for that.
Topics
- Taking it easy during pregnancy
- Beneficial exercises for pregnancy
- Prenatal exercises
- Strengthening the pelvic floor
Doc Mok an advanced GI doctor specializing in nutrition, gut health, and cancer. Joining him is the podcast’s layman, Jacky P, smashing the broscience on this week’s podcast.
