Closing out horror month, Jackal and Josiah discuss the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, specifically The Shadow over Innsmouth and At the Mountains of Madness. We all know Lovecraft was a massive racist, and that he is also one of the most influential horror writers of all time. On today's episode, we discuss why his work still resonates with us despite it's vile worldview, and look at some authors and political theorists who have reclaimed the Lovecraftian style.
