今週のちーちゃんとやっこは、「ゆる〜く見えて実はなかなかの難問ぞろいっ」という英語と日本語の「気持ち・感覚」にまつわる言葉でクイズを出し合います!当然「happy(うれしい)」とか「sad(悲しい)」なんていうカンタンなやつは出てきません!

In this playful (and surprisingly tricky!) episode, Yakko and Cheechan quiz each other on words that describe feelings and sensations in both English and Japanese. But don’t expect the easy stuff—no “happy,” “sad,” or “mad” here. We’re talking about the real vocabulary of emotions, like what it means when someone’s “salty” in English or feeling “meso meso” in Japanese.

Let’s just say… we both got stumped more than a few times. 😅 If you’re into language, culture, and testing your vocab under pressure, this episode is a fun ride with lots of laughs and aha moments. Tune in and feel all the feels with us!

《今週のポッドキャスト・フレーズ》

eat something that doesn’t agree with you : 直訳すると「あなたに同意しないものを食べる」でとてもユニークなフレーズですね。実際の意味は「何かを食べて体調が悪くなる」ことですので、体がその食べ物を受けつけなかった時に使えるちょっとやんわりした言い方です。「何か変なもの食べちゃったかな〜」とか「ちょっと調子崩しちゃった」くらいのニュアンスです!
