Should Therapists Share Political Content on Instagram (and How!)
Manage episode 482750901 series 3591264
Something that comes up a LOT is whether or not therapists should share political content online.
I received this question quite a bit last fall (especially during election season). Honestly, there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ answer.
But…I know it can really feel like a constant ‘push-pull’ for therapists!
You want to speak up and share your opinions, but you’re also unsure of how it will land with your audience.
The truth? This topic is SUPER nuanced. I knew it was time to dig into it more here!
In today’s episode, I’m diving into the topic of ‘should therapists share political content on Instagram’, and how to do so.
In this episode, I cover:
- What to consider if you share political content online as a therapist
- Why authenticity matters when sharing political content online
- Examples of my own political content I’ve shared on Instagram
- Attracting clients who align & resonate with who you are as a HUMAN
