The Oklahoma City Thunder are the 2025 NBA Champions after defeating the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals last night. Shai Gilgeous Alexander won MVP Honors while Tyrese Haliburton aggravated his calf injury and likely tore his achilles. Only four NBA players have achieved the feat of winning the MVP award, the NBA championship, Finals MVP, and the scoring title in the same season: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and now Shai Gilgeous Alexander. Should Haliburton have played? Can the Thunder repeat as champions next season? Was this NBA Finals exciting to watch?This is the Thunder’s 1st title since 1979, back when they were known as the Seattle SuperSonics.
