Many people think the first two chapters of the Bible contradict one another. They claim Genesis 1 has the animals being created before people, but in Genesis 2 animals are created after Adam? So, which chapter’s right?
Well, both are. You see, this is just an example of a supposed contradiction that’s easily resolved. When the Bible was translated into English some translations, such as the King James, chose to say, “the Lord God formed every beast of the field.”
But other translations chose “had formed.” In Hebrew this is correct. So the two chapters don’t contradict each other at all.
