When the Convention of States proxies representing all fifty states convened last Tuesday morning for a four day assembly in Philadelphia, three “items of concern” were on the agenda for consideration regarding their feasibility as potential amendments to be adapted into the U S Constitution. First, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government. Second, limit the terms of office for its officials and members of Congress. And third, impose fiscal restraints on the federal government.
