Tune in as 2 Cents Critic kicks off Pride Month! Yes, this month has circled back around for the year 2025, so the program will be focusing on queer art. For this first episode of June, Robyn Zabukovec (@TheFinalGirly) strides on back to her guest chair for a breakdown of Hannibal, the psychological horror-thriller show that premiered on NBC in 2013 and spent three seasons diving into the grisly and psychological layers of the bond that grows between an FBI criminal profiler with a painfully perceptive knack for empathy and a cunning forensic psychiatrist who harbors murderous and cannibalistic secrets. Comparing this show to the underrated horror movie Sound of Violence (which Arthur and Robyn previously covered last Pride Month on 2CC), the fake TV series Clarice, and Robyn’s hatred of the movies Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon stand out as a few of the subjects on this episode.
