It’s another all-timer tonight as we are joined by Leesa Charlotte (who met Paul Walker!) to talk about 2 Fast 2 Furious. We get her rankings of the Fast and Furious movies (which caused great emotional turmoil) and her unusual picks for favorite character in the franchise before we discuss the ads at the start of the 2 Fast 2 Furious DVD (and the disc’s custom menus). We try to suss out motivation from the first race (both for the racers and the organizers), talk about why 2 Fast feels like a pre-9/11 movie (even though it’s not), and debate which is the franchise’s best secret gay love story. We re-examine the rat bucket scene. We talk about a way to bring Suki back into the franchise. Leesa takes the character quiz.
