Nun Danket Alle God are the first four words of the great hymn we know as "Now Thank We All Our God." This hymn has an amazing story behind it, as it was born out of serious trial and peril during the Thirty Years War (1618-1648). The author of the hymn, clergyman Martin Rinckart found himself to be the only minister left in Eilenburg, Saxony (Germany) to serve thousands of people enduring the disease, overcrowding, and other affects of the war going on around him. It's a story of a great hymn born out of trial and suffering - the types of hymns that have hugely impacting meaning and inspiration to us. Take a listen!

Theme song "Most of Our Time" for 2Days Denarius and this podcast is used by permission by its author/singer Pastor Steve Hereford of Jacksonville, FL. His many wonderful Scripture songs may be found on Spotify by searching "Steve Hereford."

2Days Denarius is a Bible believing teaching ministry devoted to the inerrancy, infallibility, and authority of Scripture as our only rule of faith and practice. It also holds to the doctrinal tenets of the London Baptist confession of 1689. This ministry may be reached at [email protected]
