For many Christians, witnessing (sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others) can be very challenging - in fact, for some it is something to be feared! I know! I've been there and, like many, still feel some of those challenges today. Well, it doesn't have to be something to be feared, but it should be more of a glad willingness to share the love of Christ with others because of what He did for us. The episode of 2Days Denarius comes from a daily devotion from a book titled, "Fresh Start Devotionals" by Jim L. Wison. Dr. Wilson is a prolific author, professor at Gateway Seminary, and provides much personal and material support to pastors and chaplains in their fields of ministry. This devotional, with commentary and added mentoring comments, not only shares a story of how to reach our neighbors for Christ through building relationships, but also provides a model of how through Scripture we can lead them to salvation in Christ by our witnessing to them.

"Fresh Start Devotionals" is written by Dr. Jim L. Wilson and published by Willow City Press of the California Southern Baptist Convention, Fresno, CA. (no year provided)

Dr. Wilson's materials and pastoral supports may also be found on his excellent ministry website

Theme song "Holy Is the Lord" is used by permission of author/performer Pastor Steve Hereford of the Changed By Grace Church in Jacksonville FL. His inspirational Scripture songs may be found on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Podbean, and many other podcast hosts. Search "Steve Hereford.
