My name is Ramon. I am sharing my life experiences in the hope that they will help others improve their lives. Personal development is the foundation to build our professional career, whatever it may be. Without personal development, our professional careers are bound to encounter challenges that conflict with our individual lives, and we’ll be ill-prepared to deal with them if we do not have a solid personal life foundation. I love the experience of learning new things. I also like to share what I know and see people learning new things. In the process, I learned a lot more while helping others learn. It is a win-win situation, and I love it! That said, I am always amazed at how much we can learn by observing and evaluating new ideas, concepts, and approaches. In short, it is all about being open to change. Human nature resists change. However, change will happen no matter what. Think about it: We may think we are the same as always, but as new events and experiences occur, we learn to see things differently. We factor in new knowledge while making decisions and come up with different answers, solutions, approaches, etc. We are constantly changing. The trick is that we must choose whether to let change drive us or drive the changes in our lives. What we decide is up to each of us. In an oversimplified way of looking at life, we can be one of two: 1. We can be green and growing (open to learning and changing) OR 2. We can be ripe and rotting (we get obsolete and left behind) I leave this introduction with two questions for you to answer to yourself: 1. Who do you see yourself today? Green and growing or ripe and rotting? 2. Who do you WANT to be? Have a wonderful day, and take care.
