  • The first clock is the industry clock. You know you want your industry to be in favor, you want the multiples to be high. Not as much control as a business owner over the industry but you want to know when the right time in your industry is to exit your company and sell your company.

You're looking to show growth in your business, have a very good management team, to have a diversified customer list, and great products, and all those things. So that's really preparing the business clock.
