Today’s guest is J. Elaine Marcos. J. Elaine is a Broadway actress having had principal roles in “Annie,” “A Chorus Line,” and “Priscilla Queen of the Desert.” She’s been seen on “30 Rock,” “Rescue Me,” and “Law and Order: SVU.” As if that’s not enough, she’s done standup at Caroline’s and lists “Canadian” as a special skill on her resume. We talked about surrendering to folks who want to help you, the absurdity of being responsible for representing your ethnicity, witnessing the presence that is Jackie Hoffman, and learning from the kids in her Broadway cast of “Annie.” She’s a wonderful breath of fresh air. I'll see you on the other side.
