Following another record-breaking recruitment cycle in 2011, Gil fully embraced the education start-up revolution. In May of that year, he joined the Zinch.com team, taking responsibility for the company’s marketing and thought leadership initiatives. Zinch was acquired by Chegg in September 2011 and has since evolved into a leading student-focused connected learning platform, while maintaining its dominance in the textbook rental market. In July 2018, Gil transitioned to the National Research Center for College and University Admissions (NRCCUA) to support their strategic partnership with Chegg's digital marketing team. He also played a key role in introducing Encoura, the organisation’s new approach to data-driven enrolment management. Gil channels his energy and enthusiasm into helping colleges and universities effectively engage prospective students to achieve their enrolment objectives.
