This video is from the ‘AI with Kyle News and Updates Live Stream’
First aired: 24 November 2025

Summary: I spent most of this stream dissecting the Claude Opus 4.5 rumours—apparently it's hidden in the API and might drop today or tomorrow. The thing is, Anthropic has this annoying habit of making their best models practically unusable with severe rate limits. Opus could be brilliant for coding, but if you hit your daily cap after three prompts, what's the point? Meanwhile, OpenAI's Codex 5.1 Max and Gemini 3 are chipping away at Claude's coding advantage, so it'll be interesting to see if Anthropic can actually make this one accessible.

We also touched on the UK government's AI plans—£14 billion going into infrastructure, which sounds impressive until you realize it's mostly about data centres and compute rather than anything transformative for the public sector. I ranted a bit about HMRC's labyrinthine login system (because I spent my weekend drowning in Gov UK authentication layers), discussed why Grok's Flux-based image generator is surprisingly good, and flagged Google's Movember campaign where they'll donate £11 to charity for every AI-generated moustache photo. Not a bad way to end the stream, really.
