Dr. George Mandelaris is a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He earned his DDS from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Oral Biology from the University of Louisville. A recognized expert in CBCT diagnostics, implantology, and SFOT, he has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and numerous textbook chapters. He wrote Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy: An Interdisciplinary Approach in 2023. Dr. Mandelaris serves on the AAP Board of Trustees and has received multiple honors, including two AAP Clinical Research Awards. He practices in Glenview and Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

She contributed to Dental Sleep Practice and Sleep World Magazine, and co-authored a chapter in the medical textbook Sleep, Craniofacial Form, and Airway Function Disorders. Nicole also created the children’s book series The Adventures of Captain Airway and Mr. Mighty Mouth.
