Leadership isn't about being the one on stage. It's not about the spotlight or having people look at you all the time. Real leadership is about carrying the emotional weight of everyone around you. And bringing value to their lives because you genuinely want to see them light up. I've been drawn to leadership since I was 10 years old. Asked to teach Sunday school in sixth grade because I had something to say. Something that could help people. That's the right motivation. Not to be in charge. But to bring value. To see someone's potential shift because of the awareness you helped them gain. But here's what they don't tell you about leadership. You carry everyone else's emotions. The difficult people. The resistant ones. The emotionally distraught. The ones who don't have the same depth of awareness you have. And it's your job to show them the way out. Not shove them. Guide them. Today I'm breaking down three ways to lead difficult people that actually work. First way. Lead according to their dream. Not your vision. Their dream. Ask what they're looking for. Where they want to go. Then show them how supporting your vision gets them there. How being more engaged makes them more money. How being more accessible builds their network. Connect their dream to your vision. Leadership is about seeing people's potential. Helping them connect their dreams to your vision. And guiding them through their weaknesses. Not because you want to be the leader. But because you want to see their lives change for the better.
