Yes. Since 2021--I have been working hard on the nicer, kinder, gentler version of Jennifer Kim Estes McCully-Mobley. (My son once told me my name was not going to fit on a tombstone!)

With Father's Day occurring just last weekend, I had my Dad---Thomas Stanford (Buck) Estes on my mind. Most people called him Stan. If they had known him a long time, they called him Buck.

He was a little rough around the edges at times, but people loved him because he was the real deal. He loved long shots, sunsets and good music. He wasn't afraid of anything. With him, you always knew where you stood.

I have had to conjure him up a little bit in recent weeks. I'm not gonna lie. It felt pretty darn good. I'm thinking God surely understands. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to take a chair with me to those Pearly Gates. I'll have some explaining to do.
