This sermon, based on 1 Corinthians 15:50–58, addresses the Christian's confidence in the face of death. Benjamin describes death as a powerful and painful enemy—an unnatural separation of soul and body, bringing fear, judgment, and sorrow. Paul's taunt in verse 55 ("O death, where is your sting?") expresses the Christian's bold assurance. This confidence yields thanksgiving and motivates steadfast, gospel-driven work, knowing it is never in vain. The sermon closes with invitations: for unbelievers to come to Christ, for believers to grow in assurance, and for all to witness boldly and labour faithfully for the Lord, drawing from historic Christian examples of courage and conviction.
