To say that my life story has been a zoo is an under statement. Besides the interesting people that have been involved in my past and throughout the years is one thing. But the honor bestowed upon me in working around such a diverse group of members from the animal kingdom was priceless. When I say I was "raised by wolves", I mean literally. Living in the jungles of Sri Lanka with elephants, tigers, leopards, monkeys and yes...even a couple of King Cobras, I learned more in that time, than any book or college course could ever teach me. I learned how to truly respect each species for what and who they were and that building a relationship with human and animal is a 50/50 compromise. Add to this, being in a third world country and not having the luxuries that one gets used to in a day to day routine, tends to humble a person. This experience left such an impression on me and to this day, the things I learned from this small and primitive land, are used in my current times. To the animals, my teachers...I owe you more than I can ever give back.
