On January 7th, 2025, Andi Wagner's life was forever changed. When she woke up that morning, it seemed like just another day—but within 24 hours, she would face not only the loss of her home to a devastating fire, but the loss of her entire community: schools, churches, businesses, restaurants...all gone forever.
Of course she grieved, but as the months went by, she came to realize that she was being given an opportunity to reassess everything about her life. Eventually, she found herself not in a place of fighting her overwhelming sense of loss, but inviting a new life, one shaped by intention and hopefulness.
Though most of us will never have to face such dire circumstances, we can all learn something from Andi's story and resolve.
