Tommy Swerdlow of Dr Seuss' The Grinch and Brutally Normal TV series on his new book Straight Dope

Tommy Swerdlow is a screenwriter. He is best known for the movie Cool Runnings and other family films including Little Giants, Snow Dogs and more recently Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch and the upcoming Puss In Boots 2 (2022). His movie A Thousand Junkies, which he directed, co-wrote and co-stars in premiered at the 2017 TriBeCa Film Festival, and was released by The Orchard in January 2018. His work in television includes the series Brutally Normal (WB 2000) which he co-wrote and co- created. Swerdlow is from New York City. He moved to LA in 1983 and has lived there ever since.
