On this episode I talk with film buff Ben Chase about the 1955 movie The Night of the Hunter. This film is a story of morality, religion and the perversion thereof. Good and evil competing over the lives of two small children during the depression. It is the only film directed by Charles Laughton, and the german expressionist influences give the film a dark and dreamy aesthetic that is hauntingly beautiful.
