In this episode, I sit down with Nicole as she bravely shares her deeply personal journey of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Just a year ago, she and her husband were newlyweds, living a life full of adventure and passion. But when he suddenly became paralyzed and was later diagnosed with Devic disease, their relationship was forever changed. Now, Nicole finds herself in the role of caretaker, struggling with the loss of intimacy, feelings of guilt, and a longing for the closeness they once had.

As we dive deeper, Nicole opens up about her past, her history of hypersexuality, a marriage to a woman, and a pattern of seeking emotionally needy or manipulative partners. She reflects on how a childhood marked by emotional neglect led her to mold herself to fit others’ expectations, searching for the validation she never received. Unlike her past relationships, her husband never asked her to change, making their bond feel truly different.

Through an emotional healing exercise, I guide Nicole in reconnecting with her younger self, the little girl who felt unseen and unworthy when her parents failed to show up for her dance recital. As she releases the beliefs that have shaped her relationships and self-worth, she finds a profound moment of healing.

Nicole’s biggest takeaway? She realizes that her worth has never depended on others’ approval or presence. She is enough, just as she is, and she has the power to heal, find clarity, and move forward with love and self-acceptance.
