Last Time we had a Christmas Episode. Weare going to pick up where we left off before then in Revelation 2:18,19

We talked about the one with Eyes of fire…burning with passion and sees and acknowledges how we honour him in our lives. He sees the fruit of our lives.

Today we are going to continue in the church of Thyatira with verse 20-22

But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman tJezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants uto practice sexual immorality and uto eat food sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent, but vshe refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works. Revelation 2:20-22 (ESV)

The List:

1. He is against or takes issue with some things in his church
2. He takes issue when we tolerate false prophets and teaching
3. He takes issue when we tolerate seduction of his people
4. He takes issue when we tolerate sexual immorality
5. He takes issue when we consume food sacrificed to idols
6. He gives time for the most wicked to repent
7. He is Patient with sinners for the sake of turning
8. He will punish those that reject his abundant mercy and choose wickedness
9. He will give tribulation those who reject his abundant mercy and tolerate wickedness.
10. Despite our wickedness and tolerance of wickedness among us…he still calls us to repentance and will relent from sending trouble.

The Declarations

Jesus you are against and take issue with some things in your church

You do not want us to tolerate false prophets and teaching, those that would speak deceitful things concerning you and your word

You take issue when we tolerate your people being seduced, when stumbling blocks are put in the way of your bride

You take issue when we tolerate sexual immorality…You see the poison it is to your beloved bride

You take issue when consume that which was created for idols

You give time… The most wicked person, you give time to turn from wickedness and repent

You are patient with us, you know we are slow to turn..but you wait for the sake of mercy

But you are just and you will punish those that reject your abundant love and mercy

You give tribulation to those that follow the seduction of wickedness and choose to continue to walk in it

But you say it again…despite our choosing and tolerance, you are patient and you still call us to repentance, and you will relent and pour out mercy over judgment if we want it If we turn
