In this POWERFUL episode I sit down with Isaac Miller to discuss what would typically be a tough topic: loving someone with polarizing opinions to your own. Isaac and I are (on paper) two wildly different humans that you wouldn’t think would be good friends, but we not only respect but deeply adore each other’s differences. We discuss religion, gender, self-love, and why showing compassion for even those who have hurt us most is critical for bettering society. We discuss being queer in a religious family, what God looks like to each of us, how our upbringing and trauma has shaped us, and the journey of self-actualization and overcoming our past conditioning to live our fullest lives regardless of what other people think of us. This conversation hit me in the feelings, and is absolutely one I will personally be listening to over again.
