Steve Harvey has advice for...
- Anonymous writes... "This holiday weekend road trip with my long-distance girlfriend has turned into a drama. She lives about a ninehour drive away, and we agreed that a nice romantic spot near the middle is the way to go. Instead of meeting in the middle, though, my girlfriend now wants me to fly there, drive us to the spot, drive us back, and then I would fly back. That feels like such a waste of time and money, especially when I did look at the route and realized it was actually 45-minutes closer to her than it is to me. I would love to see her, but I don’t know that wasting the time at the airport and flying, and the upwards of $2,000 it would cost for last-minute flight makes the least bit of sense. She says it has to be that way, or the weekend won’t happen. How big of a deal is this?"
- TJ on Steve Harvey FM writes… "About a year ago, I quietly took time off from school to figure things out. I didn’t drop out, I just hit pause to rethink where I was headed. But I never told my parents. They still think I’m attending classes, and I’ve kept up the act because I didn’t want to disappoint them. Now I’ve found a completely new path that I’m excited about, but I know I’ll need their support to go for it. Do I come clean about the Thurs. 5-22-25 time off or just present them with the new plan and skip the part where I’ve been faking it for nearly a year?"
