It’s not until you’ve spent time in a country where English is an afterthought, where every sign, label, announcement and conversation is a mystery that you get an idea of how much we take literacy for granted.

Without a way to understand the language of the country we’re in it’s almost impossible to get the things we need, things like food, healthcare, employment.

You can feel quite powerless, you’re even vulnerable to be taken advantage of.

There is one language that’s spoken the world over - and sorry, it’s not love.

It’s money.

Thankfully - we live in a world at the same time as Victoria Devine.

Host of the podcast “She’s on the Money”, her new book “The Business Bible” a guide to business ownership for people craving flexibility and independence.
